Probleme mit und Abhängigkeit von psychoaktiven Substanzen, psychotherapeutische Behandlungen und spezifische Behandlungsansätze für Mädchen und Frauen

Zusammenfassung

Die evidenzbasierte Forschung belegt, dass wir heute über eine Reihe von wirksamen therapeutischen Ansätzen zur Behandlung von substanzbezogenen Suchtproblemen verfügen. Am besten untersucht und evaluiert sind Ansätze, die sich an der Kognitiven Verhaltenstherapie (CBT) orientieren. Bei der Behandlung von Frauen (und Männer) mit einer hohen Belastung und zusätzlich psychischen Störungen hat sich die Dialektische Verhaltenstherapie bewährt. In den USA sind darüber hinaus gezielte Angebote für Schwangere und süchtige Frauen mit kleinen Kindern entwickelt worden, die sich sowohl für ambulante wie stationäre Settings eignen. Die Wirksamkeit einiger dieser Ansätze wird zurzeit geprüft.

Abstract

Evidenced-based research shows that we can draw on a number of efficient treatments for substance use problems. Best researched and evaluated are treatment approaches which are derived from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Dialectic behaviour therapy is most useful for the treatment of women (and men) with comorbidity. In the United States we find also treatment approaches which address directly the needs of pregnant women and mothers with small children. The programms are used as well in outpatient and inpatient settings. Efficacy studies of some of the women-specific approaches are under way.
