Zusammenfassung

Obwohl Schmerzen des Nacken- und Schulterbereichs häufig auftreten und weitverbreitet sind, spielen phytotherapeutische Maßnahmen in der Behandlung eine untergeordnete Rolle. Dabei gibt es verschiedene Phytotherapeutika mit guter Evidenz. Der Artikel stellt sie vor und gibt praktische Tipps zur Anwendung.

Sigrun Chrubasik ist Fachärztin für Allgemeinmedizin mit den Zusatzbezeichnungen Naturheilverfahren, spezielle Schmerztherapie, ärztliches Qualitätsmanagement. Seit 1999 Honorarprofessur an der Sydney University, Department of Pharmacy, Sydney, Australien; seit 2008 Gastprofessur an der Hebrew University, Department of Pharmacy, Jerusalem, Israel. Ab 1976 Facharzt-Weiterbildungen in Allgemeinmedizin, Innerer Medizin und Pharmazeutischer Biologie an den Universitäten Heidelberg, Erlangen und Ulm. Seit 1999 Research-Koordinatorin des Schwerpunkts „Pflanzliche Drogen“ im Institut für Rechtsmedizin der Universität Freiburg i. Br. Mitglied im Review-Board verschiedener wissenschaftlicher Zeitschriften, etwa 200 Publikationen, 6 Bücher, 3 Preise für die wissenschaftliche Arbeit.
