Die perkutane Feinnadelbiopsie von Lymphknoten

Zusammenfassung

Im Anschluß an die Lymphographie wurden 76 Lymphknotenpunktionen bei 23 Patienten durchgeführt und durch die perkutane Feinnadel-Aspirationsbiopsie untersucht. Dieser, den Patienten wenig belästigende Eingriff erlaubt eine zytologische Sicherung eines in der Lymphographie fraglichen oder noch unauffälligen Lymphknotens. Die systematische Punktion repräsentativer Lymphknoten an zu erwartenden Metastasenwegen kann bei Metastasennachweis die staging-Operation ersetzen.

Summary

Following lymphography, 76 lymph nodes were punctured percutaneously using a fine needle in 23 patients and an aspiration biopsy was performed. This simple procedure provided cytological confirmation in cases of doubtful lymphograms. Systematic puncture of representative lymph nodes in the area of metastatic spread may at times be able to replace a staging operation.
