Zusammenfassung

Resveratrol ist ein potentes Antioxidans, das auch antiinflammatorische und chemopräventive Wirkungen aufweist. Darüber hinaus besitzt es eine Eigenschaft, die vor allem für die Anti-Aging-Medizin von größter Bedeutung ist: Resveratrol täuscht dem Körper eine Kalorienrestriktion vor, von der man weiß, dass sie bis heute die einzige experimentell belegte Methode zur Lebensverlängerung ist.
