Wirkungen von Antikonzeptiva auf Alopecia androgenetica, Seborrhoea oleosa, Akne vulgaris und Hirsutismus

Zusammenfassung

Eine anamnestische Erhebung bei 325 Frauen mit androgenabhängiger Symptomatik über die therapeutischen oder verschlimmernden Wirkungen verschiedenartiger antik onzeptiver Hormonkombinationen auf die androgenetische Alopezie, ölige Seborrhoe, Akne vulgaris und den Hirsutismus brachte folgende Ergebnisse: 1. Gestagene-nicht Östrogene - geben den Ausschlag für die positive oder negative Wirkung eines Präparats auf die klinische Symptomatik. Die Wirkung hängt von der Dosis pro Zyklus ab. 2. Überwiegend therapeutisch wirksame Gestagene sind Cyproteron-, Chlormadinon- und Megestroläcetat. 3. Überwiegend nachteilige Wirkungen wiesen Norgestrel und Norethisteronacetat auf. 4. Mestranol hat relativ stärkere therapeutische Eigenschaften als Äthinylöstradiol.

Summary

325 women with androgen-related symptoms were questioned about the therapeutic or detrimental effects of various contraceptive hormone combinations on male-pattern alopecia, seborrhoea, acne vulgaris, and hirsutism. The results were as follows: 1) Gestagens - not oestrogens - were decisive in determining the positive or negative action of the preparation on the clinical symptoms. The effects were dependent on the dose per cycle. 2) Gestagens with a mainly beneficial effect are cyproteron, chlormadinon and megestrolacetate. 3) Predominantly detrimental effects were shown by norgestrel and norethisterone acetate. 4) Mestranol has comparatively stronger therapeutic properties than aethinyloestradiol.
