Zusammenfassung

Anhand eines Spättodesfalles nach Schrittmacherimplantation wird auf die bakterielle Entzündung als Ursache der Verschwielung in der Umgebung von Schrittmacherelektroden hingewiesen.

Summary

On the basis of a fatality just over a year after implantation of a pace-maker, attention is drawn to bacterial infection as a cause of scar formation in the region of the pace-maker.

Résumé

Il s'agit d'un décès tardif après l'implatantation d'un pacemaker. La cause est due àune inflammation bactérienne au niveau des électrodes du pacemaker.
