Abstract

Mycotoxins, which are produced from Fungi, cause detrimental effects; more than 60–70 various toxins are isolated till now, such as aflatoxin, which is very important in the present research, as it is the cause of acute hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, teratogenešis and cancerogenic effects. The importance of a letal human aflatoxin–intoxication – reported here – is discussed.
