Abstract

Seeds of Cuscuta monogyna, produced by the parasite on Artemisia maritima under glasshouse conditions in London have been assayed for the presence of ergoline alkaloids. The absence of any detectable alkaloid fails to confirm a previous report on the occurrence of agroclavine in the seeds of this plant.
