Abstract
A differential spectrophotometric method is applied for the determination of physostigmine salicylate, codeine phosphate and ephedrine hydrochloride in their pharmaceutical preparations. The method is based on the measurement of the relative absorbance value for a solution at the corresponding maximum absorption. The results of the analysis show that the method can be successfully applied for the determination of pharmaceutical compounds of different absorptivity values.
