Abstract
In the stems of Piptanthus nepalensis (Hook.) D. Don, 10 isoflavonoids have been identified; they belong to 3 series: daizein, formononetin, genistein and their β–D–monoglucosides or β–D–di-glucosides. The major component, ononin, has been isolated.
