Significance
Chiral palladacycles are applied in kinetic resolution for the first time. One enantiomer of ()-cis-1-hydroxy-2-aryl-1,2-dihydronaphthalenes can be selectively dehydrated with base and catalytic amount of benzylic-substituted palladacycles.
