Significance

The authors present herein a cross-coupling reaction of allyl acetates and aryl or vinyl siloxanes catalyzed by in situ generated palladium nanoparticles. This cross-coupling proceeds in refluxing tetrahydrofuran and affords the respective arylated or vinylated olefins in generally very good yields.
