Introduction

Chronic corneal ulcers are a serious health issue that often leads to vision loss. Traditional methods of treating corneal perforations involve sutures and transplantation, which carry the inherent risk of visually limiting high irregular astigmatism and may prolong the healing process. The introduced customised corneal endotamponade is a novel technique that eliminates the need for sutures.
