Interdisziplinäre Behandlung einer Patientin mit hemimandibulärer Hyperplasie

Mandibuläre Asymmetrien, die mit persistierendem Unterkieferwachstum assoziiert sind, manifestieren sich häufig im jungen Erwachsenenalter. Konservativen Therapieansätzen sind diese Dysgnathien nicht mehr zugänglich. Therapie der Wahl stellt ein kombiniert kieferorthopädisch-kieferchirurgisches Konzept dar. Der nachfolgend dokumentierte Fall soll ein mögliches Therapiekonzept am Beispiel einer jungen Patientin mit hemimandibulärer Hyperplasie veranschaulichen.
