Die chronische Nierenerkrankung (CNE) ist eine häufige Krankheit v. a. bei älteren Tieren, bei deren Diagnose, Behandlung und Monitoring viele Faktoren zu berücksichtigen sind. Der folgende Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die aktuell empfohlenen Maßnahmen zur Stadieneinteilung und Behandlung der CNE bei Hund und Katze.
