Lippen-Kiefer-Gaumenspalten – Eine aktuelle Übersicht interdisziplinärer Therapiekonzepte

Lippen-Kiefer-Gaumen-Spalten gehören zu den häufigsten angeborenen Fehlbildungen weltweit. Die primäre chirurgische Rekonstruktion ist zumeist nach dem ersten Lebensjahr abgeschlossen, im Wachstum ergeben sich aber stetig neue therapeutische Herausforderungen. Dieser Beitrag beleuchtet kieferorthopädische und chirurgische Aspekte.
