Präokkupation als neues Symptom der Psychopathologie: Ein Überblick

Präokkupation bezeichnet eine zeitintensive gedankliche Beschäftigung mit vergangenen Lebensereignissen und deren Implikationen. Präokkupation wurde im ICD-11-Diagnosesystem neu eingeführt und verfügt bisher über keine umfangreiche klinische Konzeptualisierung. Erste Einordnungsversuche deuten aber darauf hin, dass sich Präokkupation von anderen Symptomen in vielerlei Hinsicht unterscheidet und einer maßgeschneiderten Behandlung bedarf.
