ZUSAMMENFASSUNG
Die Behandlung von psychotischen Störungen wie der Schizophrenie stellt weiterhin eine große Herausforderung dar. Jesus „heilt“ nach den Darstellungen im Neuen Testament Menschen mit „Besessenheit“ mittels „Dämonenaustreibung“ vollständig im Sinne von Recovery. Obwohl in einer symbolischen Sprache niedergelegt, werden wichtige Wirkfaktoren hierfür deutlich, so z. B. starke und eindeutige Patientenführung, liebevolle und intensive Zuwendung, Gottesglauben und Gebet. Es wird vermutet, dass eine stärkere Berücksichtigung solcher religiös-geistlicher Praktiken bei der psychiatrisch-psychotherapeutischen Behandlung von Psychose-Kranken nicht nur diese Patienten günstig ansprechen, sondern auch das Repertoire unserer Möglichkeiten wirkungsvoll erweitern kann.
ABSTRACT
The treatment of psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia remains a major challenge. Jesus, according to the accounts in the New Testament, “heals” people with “possession” by means of “casting out demons” completely in terms of recovery. Although set down in symbolic language, important effective factors for this become clear, such as strong and clear patient leadership, loving and intense care, faith in God, and prayer. It is suggested that greater consideration of such religious-spiritual practices in the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of psychosis patients would not only appeal to these patients favorably but would also effectively expand the repertoire of our options.
