Vom kardiologischen Notfall bis zur Herzoperation – ein Fallbericht

Eine Frau klagt über zunehmende Luftnot. Doch warum? Es kommt zu einem kardiogenen Schock mit Mehrorganversagen. Als die medikamentöse Behandlung nicht ausreicht, wird ein Kreislaufersatzverfahren eingesetzt. Leider erholt sich die Herzschwäche, auch nachdem die Ursache gefunden ist, nicht. Daher wird der Frau ein dauerhaftes Linksherzunterstützungssystem implantiert. Bis zur Entlassung ist es ein langer Weg auf der Intensivstation.
