Ambulant erworbene Pneumonie: Oft reicht 3-tägige antibiotische Therapie

In der klinischen Praxis erfolgt die antibiotische Behandlung einer ambulant erworbenen Pneumonie in der Regel über einen Zeitraum von 7–10 Tage. Dieses Vorgehen wird von europäischen Leitlinienempfehlungen gestützt. Eine aktuelle Studie aus Frankreich zeigte jetzt aber, dass in vielen Fällen eine nur 3-tägige Antibiotikaeinnahme ausreichend ist.
