Die klinische Diagnose eines Ziliarkörpertumors wird oft durch die hinter der Iris verborgene Lokalisation des Tumors deutlich erschwert. Bei einer Größenprogredienz, die ein Hinweis auf Malignität sein kann, muss ggf. eine exzisionale Biopsie zur Diagnosesicherung erfolgen.
