Einleitung

Der Hallux valgus ist die häufigste Vorfußdeformität überhaupt. Die globale Prävalenz wird mit bis zu 23% bei 18- bis 65-Jährigen und 35% bei Menschen über 65 Jahren angegeben [13]. Dem Fußchirurgen stehen mehr als 140 verschiedene OP-Techniken zur Verfügung, die je nach Ausprägungsgrad der Halluxdeformität ihren jeweiligen Indikationsbereich haben.
