Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your very interesting and inspiring contribution. After Douglass Howry developed the first B-Mode scanner as a water bath-based device [1], it was considered great progress when Joseph Holmes, Ian Donald and Yoshimitsu Kikuchi invented a waterless unit. Now a return to the technique of water coupling marks another great improvement.
