Schmerzen werden bei Krebspatienten nicht nur durch den Tumor verursacht, sondern können auch tumorassoziiert auftreten oder durch die Behandlungen induziert sein. Die medikamentöse Schmerzbehandlung wird im Wesentlichen nach den Empfehlungen der WHO durchgeführt und in diesem Beitrag beschrieben.
