Die Rolle der Flüssigkeiten ist im osteopathischen Denken und Handeln in ihrer Bedeutung unbestritten und so manche Therapiekonzepte begründen sich auf Prinzipien wie „the rule of the artery is supreme“ und „the river of life“. Aber haben wir verstanden, auf welche physiologischen Grundlagen sich diese Überlegungen beziehen und in welchen Räumen und Geweben sich Flüssigkeiten bewegen? Die Auseinandersetzung mit den Grundlagen der Flüssigkeiten, ihren Eigenschaften und ihrer Bewegung kann unsere Erkenntnisse erweitern und uns helfen, Behandlungskonzepte zu optimieren.
