Die menschliche Körperhaut ist ein hochkomplexes sensorisches Netzwerk. Abermillionen unterschiedlicher Rezeptoren gewährleisten im Verbund mit der zentralnervösen Verarbeitung eine permanente und lebenslange Sensitivität. Diese schützt nicht nur den Organismus, sondern ist die notwendige Basis für zahlreiche Aspekte des Alltagshandelns.
