Abstract

Despite all the hurdles they have to encounter, scientists in the field of regenerative medicine have tried to optimize findings from stem cell research for practical applications for quite a while. Multipotent adipose derived-tissue stem cells seem to be most promising, due to their superior attributes compared to mesenchymal stem cells derived from the bone marrow. This article covers the advantages and disadvantages of adipose tissue-derived stem cells and their application spectrum.
