Die Koloskopie ist eine maßgebliche Untersuchungstechnik zur Diagnostik von Erkrankungen des Dickdarms, des Enddarms sowie des terminalen Ileums. Wichtige Indikationen zur Koloskopie sind die Früherkennung und Prävention von Darmkrebs oder die Abklärung chronischer Durchfallerkrankungen bzw. die Diagnostik chronisch entzündlicher Darmerkrankungen. Dieser Beitrag beschreibt die Standards bei der Vorbereitung zu einer Koloskopie.
