Mechanische Reanimationshilfen (mCPR) werden anstelle manueller CPR eingesetzt, um eine gleichbleibend stabile Perfusion der vitalen Organe zu gewährleisten. Der Beitrag liefert die wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen zum Einsatz der Geräte und evaluiert die Ergebnisse nach mCPR.
