Summary

In recent years, the popularity of cosmetic procedures has continued to rise, including those that serve to treat fine lines and wrinkles and skin laxity. Traditionally, women have comprised the vast majority of patients. However, men now represent a growing portion of patients. Due to several important differences in anatomy, perspectives, and preferences, the treatment approach to skin tightening should be tailored to men when treating this particular group. Practitioners should be knowledgeable about the various types of treatment that are available and understand the unique approach in order to continue to deliver effective, tailored, and high-quality care.
