Summary

Thread lifts have been used to provide a minimally invasive facelift for many years. The effectiveness, patient satisfaction, and side effect profile improved with the introduction of absorbable sutures. We review the long-term outcomes, effectiveness, and benefits of thread lifts and discuss identifying the best candidates and surgical techniques for thread lifts.
