Die Knopflochpunktion (Teil 2) – Internationales Expertentreffen zur Knopflochpunktion in Stuttgart

Im Juli 2014 lud die Interdisziplinäre Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dialysezugänge e. V. (IAD) zu einem internationalen Expertentreffen nach Stuttgart ein. Moderiert von Beate Spindler, Institut für Fort- und Weiterbildung der PHV, trafen sich 10 Experten aus Europa, darunter eine Patientin in Knopflochselbstpunktion und ein Nephrologe.

2014 erschien ein systematischer Review randomisierter kontrollierter Studien (RCT) und Observationsstudien zur Knopflochpunktion, welcher zum Ergebnis kommt, dass es für die Favorisierung der Knopflochpunktion bisher keine Evidenz gibt [ 1 ]. Dieser Artikel beschreibt wichtige Erkenntnisse des Treffens und nimmt kritisch Stellung zu aktuellen Veröffentlichungen der Knopflochpunktion (BH: Buttonhole) und Standardpunktion (SP).
