Ziel der Studie Beschreibung der bundesweiten Unterstützungslandschaft für Menschen mit seelischen Behinderungen, die in stationären Einrichtungen der Eingliederungshilfe unterstützt werden.
Methodik Bundesweite quantitative Erhebung von Struktur- und Prozessdaten stationärer Wohneinrichtungen mittels Onlinefragebogen, durchgeführt im Rahmen der „ZIPHER“-Studie (Zwangsmaßnahmen im Psychiatrischen Hilfesystem – Erfassung und Reduktion).
Ergebnisse Es wurde ein Rücklauf von 20 % erzielt, insgesamt konnten 11 881 offene und 1268 geschlossene Plätze erfasst werden. In den psychiatrischen Wohnheimen leben vorwiegend männliche, über 50-jährige, an Schizophrenie erkrankte Menschen. Die Mitarbeiterstruktur und Ausstattung mit einer Nachtwache differiert zwischen den offenen und geschlossenen Wohnkontexten.
Schlussfolgerung Die Ergebnisse verweisen auf eine mangelnde Datenlage im Bereich der stationären Wohneinrichtungen und die Notwendigkeit einer regionalen Sozialberichterstattung.
Abstract
Objective Description of the nationwide housing situation for severely mentally ill people (including substance dependencies).
Methods Nationwide quantitative survey using an online questionnaire on structural and process data of residential facilities. The survey was conducted as part of the “ZIPHER” study (coercive measures in the psychiatric help system – recording and reduction).
Results A response rate of 20 % was achieved, 11,881 open and 1,268 closed home places were recorded. The present results show that especially male people, who are 50 years of age and older and/or suffering from schizophrenia are living in the psychiatric housing facilities. Both the composition of staff members during the day and the presence of staff at night differ between the open and closed living contexts.
Conclusion The first nationwide results refer to a lack of data in the field of inpatient housing facilities and the need for a regionally based social reporting.
