Abstract

The aerial parts of Parsonsia straminea (Apocynaceae) were found to contain free triterpenes. Two compounds, C₂₉H₄₆ (OH) COOH and C₃₀H₄₉OH, were isolated in 1.7 % and 0.3 % yield respectively.
