NAPHTALINGLYKOSIDE IN DER RINDE VON RHAMNUS FRANGULA
Naphtaline Glycosides from the Bark of Rhamnus frangulaPublication History
Publication Date:
14 January 2009 (online)
Abstract
Three glycosides of 1,8–dihidroxy–2–acetonaphtone were isolated from bark, of Rhamnus frangula. The glucidic rest of the first was glucose and rhamnose while in the two others it was only glucose.
It has been established that in the two natural glucosides the glucidic rest was bound in diglucidic form to the one of C1 or C8 hydroxyl and the two natural glucosides were positional isomers. This was proved by quantitative estimation of aglyconi'glucoside ratio, through preparation of monomethylether as well as comparing to the semisynthesis 1,8–dihidroxy–2–acetonaphtone of the 1,8–diglu-coside.
