Abstract

Colour reactions on chromatograms of 14 sesquiterpenoids of known chemical stucture have been investigated, using six spray reagents. The usefulness of this method for the identification of chemical constituents of plants has been demostrated on chloroform extracts of three species of Chrysanthemum s. 1.
